a. Note:   Calvin SIms Caddo Mills---Funeral services for Calvin Ray Sims, of Caddo Mills, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Rentfrow Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Hugh Minefee officiating. Burial will be at Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery. He died Sunday at his residence. Born in Caddo Mills on Sept 22, 1909, he was the son of Malachi and Effie Harris Sims; was a veteran; a construction foreman for Lone Star Gas Company; a Mason and a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by two sons, Alton Ray Sims of Keller and Arlon Glen Oklahoma City, Okla.; four daughters, Mary Edith Brookshire of Duncanville, Melba Jean Biczo of Dallas, Marjorie Gay Miller of Ottawa, Kan., and Margaret Carol Smith of Burleson; five brothers, A.J. Sims of Caddo Mills, J.P. Sims and Irah Sims both of Irving, S.M. Sims of Farmersville and Cletus Sims of DeSoto, three sisters, Beulah Mae Lacy of Brownfield, Irene Thompson of Ovilla, and Bonnie Fay Tallent of Seagoville,; 10 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Rentfrow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
