Note: Obituary published 19 Sep 2009 in "The Paris News", Paris, TX: Shirley Kirkpatrick, 64, of Paris died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Diana Russell officiating. Burial follows in Evergreen Cemetery. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
The family receives friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 4, 1945, in Shreveport, La., to Winston Sherwood and Thelma Powell Easley. She married Howard Leon Kirkpatrick Aug. 4, 1962, at Westside Baptist Church in New Boston. She was a homemaker and member of Covenant Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Kirkpatrick; three children, Vicki Skaggs and husband, Charles, Amy Branum and husband, Charles, and Philip Kirkpatrick and wife, Kristi; six grandchildren, Paul Kirkpatrick, Brittany Kirkpatrick, Dakota Easton, Andrew Kirkpatrick, Lucas Kirkpatrick and Matthew Kirkpatrick; and one brother, Mack Easley and wife, Bonnie.
