Source: Obituary, Longview Morning Journal, April 18, 1987. Services for Harley D. Morrison, 72, of Longview will be noon Saturday at Rader Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. He died Thursday morning at his home. Mr. Morrison was born in Maud and had lived in Longview since childhood. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for Texas Eastman and a member of Greggton First Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Ronnie D. of Longview; daughter Marilyn Jones of Longview; sisters, Christine Carver of DeRidder, LA., Gladys Giles of Texarkana, Alma Jernigan of Farmerville, LA., and Opal McGehee of Gilmer; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
