Note: Doris Ardell Skains -- Jonesboro, LA Doris Ardell Skains, 74, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, November 26, 1998 in Lincoln General Hospital. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 1998 in Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.E. Miles, Rev. Evelyn Alexander officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra F. Foster and husband, Whit of Shreveport; one son, William L. Skains, Jr. and wife, Robin of Branson, MO.; three brothers, Everett Alexander of Jonesboro, John Alexander of Quitman, and R.V. Alexander of Hodge; three sisters, Linda Evans of Hodge, Avis Gains of Quitman, and Joyce Hall of Dubach; four grandchildren, Kaci Skains, Steven Skains, Kyle Smiley and Sean Smiley; two great grandchildren, Caitlin Foster and Kaleigh Smiley. Pallbearers include Darren Alexander, Eddie Joe Alexander, Leslie Alexander, Scott Alexander, Kyle Smiley, and Sean Smiley. Honorary Pallbearer was Steven Skains.
