  Birth: Mar. 22, 1918 Cooper Delta County Texas, USA Death: Jan. 12, 2009 Ollie Loyd Strawn, 90, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Ollie was born March 22, 1918, in Cooper to Lilly and Richard Strawn. He lived an active life and loved being outdoors. He owned his own tree service business and was proud and happy to support and care for his family. Ollie was preceded in death by the beloved mothers of his 12 children, Iva M. Strawn and Mary E. Strawn, and by four beautiful daughters. His life is remembered with great love and respect. Survivors: Children, Loyd and Liz Strawn, Ricky and Cindy Strawn, David and Lisa Strawn, Lois and James Averett, Cherry Martin, Wanda and Neil Kyle, Lillie and Gary Nichols and Brenda Richardson; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
