Note: ional Medical Center. Starrett Funeral Home conducts graveside rites at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday May 8, at Rockford Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Phillips officiating. The family receives friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 13, 1925 in Cunningham, a daughter of Robert Frances and Iva Mae Ballard Trussell. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Strawn and Oscar Layton. She is survived by four sons, Barney Strawn of Sulphur Springs, and Floyd Strawn and Tim Strawn, both of Paris, Weston Layton of Castle Rock, Colo.; four daughters, Bonnie Garcia of Paris, Bobbie Jean Rosson of Hugo, Okla., Delma Layton of Denison and Guinevere Quinn of Sulphur Springs; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
