Continued: Lyle Ray Leamons HAZARD , KY - Mr. Lyle Ray Leamons, 67, entered into rest on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at ARH Hospital in Hazard, KY, while gripping the hand of his beloved wife, Sue. Lyle was a native of Illinois where he retired as a Sergeant First Class from the Army National Guard. Lyle was a devoted husband, father, and service member. He is survived by his spouse of 41 years, Sue; two daughters, Tisha of Ashland, IL and Tanya and Joe of Evans, GA; two sisters Samme and Dale of Palmyra, IL and Willa of Rochester, IL; four grandchildren Kiersten, Thaddeus, Danielle and Beau; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and family friends along with his two loyal companions Corky and Daisy. Lyle was avid about cooking and a very talented handyman. He will be missed by many and treasured by all. Services will be held on Friday, July 8th, 12pm, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, 5063 Camp Butler Road, Route 36 East in Springfield. Following the service, family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lyle Leamons at the dwelling of Samme and Dale Schramm. Donations for the memorial can be made to the American Cancer Society Published in The State Journal-Register on July 3, 2011
