Thelma Roberts, 76, of Arkadelphia, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, in a Little Rock hospital.
She was a retired secretary for Shelter Insurance Co., a member of First Baptist Church, treasurer of the Eastern Star, member of the Pioneer Home Demonstration Club, the Dorcas Sunday dschool class and was Grand Chapter Mom of 1987 of Arkansas.
Survivors include her husband, Jewel Roberts of Arkadelphia; three daughters, Vita June Hankins of Camden, Frankie Craig of Springhill, La. and Doris Jean Hardaway of Greenbrier; three sisters, Tommye Staggs and Mildred Street, both of Springhill and Syble Golden of Eugene, Ore.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Murry Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lyn Worthen officiating.
Burial will be in Antoine Cemetery under the direction of Murry Ruggles Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
