Note: l in Hemphill, Texas. Waylon was born in Jackson Parish, Louisiana, to Jackson and Nancy Bridges Bell. He was in the United States Navy and served on the USS Tausig. He worked as a machinist for Crumpler's Machine Shop in Bridge City and for Amerpol-Synpol in Port Neches were he retired. He was a member of the Rosevine Church of God in Rosevine; he also was a chairman on the board. Waylon was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his sons: Ricky Bell and Franky of Spring, Texas, and Dennis Bell and Linette of Bridge City, his daughters: Vickie Saltzman and Tim of Hemphill, and Sandra Bell Porter and David of Katy, his sisters: Sue Thurston of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Joan Moore of Madison, Mississippi, his 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Bell, his sister Nellie Ruth Alexander, and his grandson Douglas Wayne Bell. Visitation will be from 10AM until 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in the Rosevine Church of God in Rosevine, Texas. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in the Rosevine Church of God in Rosevine. Burial will follow in the Rosevine Cemetery.
