He was born on August 23, 1941 in Bogata, Texas and passed away in Seven Points, Texas on September 2, 2012.
He was proceeded in death by his father Zack Miller, son Zachary Carrell Miller, daughter Donna Marie Hastings, grandson David Carrell Bush, and sister Joyce Marie Nelson.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years Vickie Jo Miller, daughters Malessa Ann Adams husband James, Latrelle (Trelly) Jean Bush and husband David, Jennifer Lynn Pearson and Scott Holbert. He is also survived by his mother Bessie Marie Miller Bass, brother T O Miller and wife Glenda of Kemp, Rodger Dale Miller and wife Debra of Crum, sister Wanda Jean Miller McBride and husband Larry of Kerens.
His greatest pleasure in life was his grandsons, law enforcement and his horses. He started law enforcement in Cockrell, Texas as a reserve moving on to Kemp, then to Log Cabin as Chief of Police and then to Seven Points and worked with his good friend of 24 years Norman Terry as a Constable. For the last 2 years he and his wife owned and operated the Circle M Tack store in Seven Points.
