a. Continued:   W.L. “George” Neal, age 88, New Castle resident, passed away Tuesday evening at Heritage House Convalescent Center. He was born January 15, 1921 in White, Louisiana a son of the late William Alfred and Nette Geneva Peppers Neal.
  He retired from Jefferson Box Factory in 1987 after 33 years of service. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He also had worked for Hudson Tool Rental for several years. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, singing, and watching “Big time” wrestling on television and in person.
 He is survived by: sons, David Charles Neal of Missouri, Ronnie Gene Neal (wife: Betty) of New Castle, Gary Dean Neal (wife: Debi) of Anderson, Danny Neal of New Castle, Jimmy Head of Idaho, and Roger Dale Neal of Louisiana; daughters, Teresa Hill of New Castle, Sandra Kay Hinton (husband: Tracy) of New Castle, and Rhonda Malloy of New Castle; grandchildren, Stephanie Neal, Brooke Malloy, Cody Malloy, Blake Neal, Brian Neal, Amber Neal, Sarah Hill, Tim Hill, Travis Hinton, Tara Hinton, Jeremiah Hinton, Josh Hinton, Aaron Neal, Doronda Nicely, Dawnelle Brown, Jimmy Head, Tammy Head, and also several great-grandchildren; sister Margalean Reed of Ruston, LA.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
 He was preceded in death by: parents; wife, Lillie Neal in 1992; sisters, Lottie Neal and Maureen Tyler; brothers, W.A. Neal, Everett Neal, Melvin Neal, and Dewey Neal.
 Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Today (Thursday), at Macer-Hall Funeral Home, and 11a.m.-1p.m. Friday July 31, 2009 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home.
  Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday July 31, 2009 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Neal officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery.
