Note: ptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born July 26, 1931, in Picayune, MS, the son of the late Roy Webber and Lucy Caroline Copeland May. Otis was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Sparkman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virty Leamons May, his son and daughter in law, Steve and Amy May and three sisters, Clyde Hammons, Till Taylor and Caroline Smith.
Otis is survived by three sons, Joe (Lou) May, Sam (Kathy) May both of Sparkman, and David (Barbara) May of Camden, thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Robert Watson, James Guthrie and Sonny Tucker officiating.
Interment will be in Holeman Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Pallbearers will be Jay, James, Drew, Ty and Aaron May, John Schofer, Richard Franks and Robert Nichols.
