Note: d proud mother of Travis, Linda was born and raised in Amarillo and joined the Federal Civil Service after graduating from Amarillo College. She ultimately settled in the Houston area where she met and married Ray. They both retired from the Houston Regional Air Traffic Center.Linda was devoted to her family and delighted in raising her son Travis. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her fantastic holiday meals complete from table-scape to dessert.Linda is survived at home by Travis, the loving son she was so proud of and by Boudreaux, the big green parrot she adopted. She is also survived by numerous members of the Cook clan of Amarillo and the Leamons clan of Junction.A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 14 at the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel inside the Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery, 1703 Porter Rd (FM 1314) Conroe, TX.
