Sparkman---Jesse Glenn Jones, 60, of Sparkman died Saturday, Feb 17, 1996, at a Hot Springs hospital.
Born Sept 25, 1935, at Manning, to Albert O. and Della Lemons Jones, he was retired from Reynolds Metal Company and was a Korean War veteran and member of Manning Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Ellerd Jones; three sons, Glenn Eldon Jones and Bobby Jones, both of Malvern, and Greg C. Jones of Donaldson; five stepchildren, Franklin Walker II of Albany, Ga., Peggy Christian of Sheridan, Donna Ventz of Camden, Daryl Walker of Bearden and Billy Walker of Sparkman; 17 grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be a 2:30 p.m. Monday at Manning Baptist Church with Brother Jerry George officiating.
Burial will be in Delamar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today. Arrangements are by Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home, Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to Manning Baptist Church.
