Funeral services for Ester Faye Osbon, 94, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Rhoades officiating.
Interment will follow at Rockhill Cemetery with Tony Gilbreath, Heath Gilbreath, Tray Gilbreath, Tommy Kenemore, Bob Clopton, Ricky Jetton and Mike Smith serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Ester Faye Osbon passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 17, 2009, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.
She was born in Cooper, on May 14, 1915, the daughter of Edward Lee Ward and Florence Ward.
She married Dee Osbon in Cooper on Nov. 14, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Mrs. Osbon was a retired seamstress for Lee’s Manufacturing. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Gilbreath and Keith of Yantis; a son, Gerald Osbon and Delores of New Braunfels; grandchildren Heath Gilbreath, Tray Gilbreath and Tyra Dee Kenemore; and great-grandchildren Kaleigh Martin, Macie and McKinzie Gilbreath, and Keith and Traityn Kenemore.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Lee Ward Jr. and Barney Ward; and two sisters, Ivy Dixon and Dutch Dixon.
Memorials may be made to Yantis Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
