NORRID, 89, of Coushatta, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta, with REV. BENNY ALFORD officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery. MR. NORRID passed away Jan. 26, 1998, at L. S. Huckabay Memorial Hospital in Coushatta. He was born in Red River Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents, JOHN W. and NANCY HUCKABAY NORRID; wife, HERMA VAIL NORRID; sisters, DELIA KENNINGTON, and IOLA HENDERSON. Survivors include sisters, MARIE McGEE of Greenwood; CHLOTEAL MURPHY of Coushatta; ADELE McMICHAEL of Coushatta; ONETHA JONES of Lake Charles; brother, WILEY F. NORRID; and numerous nieces and nephews.
