Uncle John always said that when Wiley got grown he was going to make a sheriff out of him and for years in school he was called "Sheriff". He took over the farming when Uncle John died, years later Wiley said he would have never made it without the help of Uncle Frank telling him when, what & how to plant. He was a very popular young man and many girls were nice to Adele & me hoping that we'd put in a good word for them with Wiley. He was a quiet person but had a good sense of humor.
