Edith was raised by her Aunt Eula Scoggins, Shirley by her Aunt Susie Ayers, Jeri & Buford by their Aunt Ora Norred. When Buford was in about the 10th grade he came to live with Wiley & Edith. (from Millicent Bridges) Pasadena Citizen NORRIDEdith Rambin Norrid, 82, of Pasadena, TX, passed away after a brief illness on the 15th of April 2006 while surrounded by her loving family. Our precious Mother and Nannie went home to see her Lord and Savior and her loving husband, Wiley, of 59 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pasadena, TX and had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Coushatta, LA for many years. She was born in Caspiana, LA on December 10, 1923 and resided in Shreveport, Doyline, and Coushatta, LA before moving to Pasadena, TX upon the death of her husband. Edith resided at Bayshore Towers in Pasadena where she enjoyed the love and friendship of many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Lou Woodard Rambin and Johnnie B. Rambin, sisters Mary Kathryn Rambin and Jerri Moseley, and brother Buford Rambin. She is survived by her three children, daughter Sandra Norrid of Cumming, GA, son John F. Norrid and wife Lynell of Natchitoches, LA, daughter Barbara (Sue) Shaver and husband Rodney of Seabrook, TX, grandchildren Mark Warner, John F. Norrid, Jr, Angel W. Spota, Nikki N. Dobbins, and Eddie Norrid, eleven great grandchildren, sister Shirley R. Loftin and son Terry, brother Andrew S. Rambin and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Graveside services will be held at Holly Springs Cemetery near Coushatta, LA at 2 PM on April 18, 2006 with the Rev. Benny Alford officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice.
