She passed from this life Monday, July 18, 2011 at Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma at the age of sixty-nine. Rosie and William Harold Lowery were united in marriage on February 8, 1959 in Charlie, Texas. He preceded her in death September 10, 2009. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church in Byers with the Rev. James Keenum officiating. Burial will be in Byers Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Survivors include son, David Wayne Lowery of Byers; daughters, Patricia Ann Kelley of Waurika, Peggy Jean Roberts of Henrietta, Janice Marie Lowery of Wichita Falls and Shirley Lee Stoneking of Byers; sister, Katherine Hanson; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family visitation from 6-7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
