Note: e 86 of Shreveport, LA will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Holley Springs Cemetery near Coushatta, LA. Officiating the service will be Dr. T. Floyd Davis, pastor of Woodbridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA on July 14, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Mr. Jones was born on May 7, 1923, in Okolona, Arkansas to the late Trout and Belle Rushing Jones and passed away on July 12, 2009, in Shreveport, LA. He retired after working for Texas Eastern and Henderson, Imp. of Lake Charles. He was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 66 years, Onetha Norrid Jones; brothers, Joe C. Jones and James M. Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Sally Ball. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be sent to Woodridge Baptist Church, 850 East Bert Kouns, Shreveport, LA 71106.
