Note: Carrie Ethel Casper (December 28, 1948 - March 14, 2010) Carrie Casper, age 62 of Winnfield, LA passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA.
She was the daughter of Amma Lee White Deese Kirkham and the late Willey Lee Deese, both formerly of Dodson, LA.
Carrie was preceded in death by her daughter, Katina Michelle Casper; sister, Shirley Ann Deese; brother, Timothy Lee Deese; and her oldest Grandson, Derek Kyle Lowe. She was also preceded in death by numerous Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Casper of Goldonna, LA. Also surviving are her oldest son, Tommy Wayne Lowe and wife Tonya of Winnfield, LA; Two daughters, Bonnita Kay Casper and her significant other, Amanda Gintz both of Winnfield, LA; Stacy Lynn Casper Martin and significant other John Grimm of Jonesboro, LA; Youngest son, William Timothy Casper and wife Casey of Milan, New Mexico.
Carrie is survived by the following list of Grandchildren: Alex Dewayne Lowe and significant other, Brittney Droddy, Dayva Daniella Lowe, all of Winnfield LA; Kursten Casper and significant other David Hollingsworth, both of Winnfield, LA; Katina Martin, Krysten Martin and Trey Martin, all of Jonesboro, LA; Gunnar Casper, Destiny Phillips, and Breanna Lachney, all of Marksville, LA; Alexis Molina, Samantha Molina, and Adrianna Molina all of Grants, New Mexico; Step grandchildren are John Patrick Grimm, Brittnie Grimm, and Brandy Grimm, all of Jonesboro, LA.
Mrs. Casper is also survived by long lifetime friends, Sylvia and Bill Walker of New Iberia, LA and JoAnn Wyles of Dodson, LA.
A memorial service was held for Mrs. Casper at Corinth Baptist Church on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. The pastors officiating the services were Bro. Billy Prince and Reverend Earnest Ray Little. She will be placed at Transport Cemetery in Dodson, LA. The memorial service was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Pallbearers were John Grimm, Chuck Wilkerson, Kenneth James and Dakota Ellis.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Winn Parish Dialysis Facility, Winn Parish Medical Center, the ICU Department at Glenwood Regional Medical Center and all her Doctors and Nurses at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
