Mr. Deese died Sunday morning at Oschner Clinic in New Orleans. He was burned in an explosion that occurred on an offshore oil derrick Jan. 6.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Amma Lee Deese, Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Casper, Kansas City; one niece and one nephew.
