Note: d Tuesday, 2 Jul 1974, in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Blase, pastor of Springlake Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Cameron was born 3 Jan 1896, in Rosalie community in Red River County, son of Neil and Mary Head Cameron. He attended Bogata schools and married the former Miss Myrtle Ward in Paris on 28 Jun 1924. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. He retired in 1961.
