All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Highland Cemetery--Lawton OK Lawton Constitution 17 Mar 2003 Sarah Elizabeth Morris Funeral for Sarah Elizabeth Morris, 82, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Antwine, officiating. Mrs. Morris died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at a local hospital. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. She was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Lamar County, Texas, to William and Viola Kendall Medsker. She was raised in Lamar County and came to Lawton in 1964. She married Thomas Morris on Sept. 18, 1937, in Hugo. He died Jan. 12, 1984. Survivors include three sons: Tommy Morris and his wife, Nancy, Lawton; Larry Morris, Clovis, N.M.; and Gary Morris, California; two daughters: Beverly Christensen and her husband George, San Diego; and Carolyn Morris, Lawton; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: William Morris, and Audry Lee Morris; a daughter, Nancy Morris; and a sister, Lois King.
