Mrs. Virginia Robinson, age 91 of Friendship, journeyed to her heavenly home Wednesday, October 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husbands, E.L. Walker, E.C. Robinson, John Bates; son, Harry L. Walker; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; parents, Eligh Burl and Christine (Cummings) Mathews; siblings, Guy Mathews, Betty Lou Mathews, Bob Mathews, Jack Mathews, Arva Lee Rowell.
Those left to cherish Mrs. Robinson's memory are her children, David Ray "Duck" Walker (Geneva), Betty Christine Walker Dobson (Ron), Linda Louise Walker Jordan, Judy Kay Walker Ferrell, Edward C. "Sonny" Robinson Jr. (Susan), Robbie Jean Robinson Breeland (Jimmy), Tommy Gerald Robinson, Margie Robinson Machen; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Jean Sutton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00AM until noon at Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 2:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverends Robert Leach and Kelly Leach officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery at Liberty Hill under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
