THE PARIS NEWS, Aug. 19, 2011, page 3A. - Edward Lee Ward, 75, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday Aug. 16, 2011, at his home in Lancaster. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour to service time at the funeral home He was born June 16, 1936, in Paris, a son of Edward Marshall and Catherine Adams Ward. He was married to Joyce Earline Powell, who preceded him in death. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was self-employed in the auto salvage business. Survivors include children, Liea Shanice of Seattle, Wash.; Shannon Logan of Lancaster; Kristina Galipp of Dallas and a grandson, Brent Remidz. Family links: Spouse: Joyce Earline Ward (1929 - 1983)
