 Maydelle, Texas — Born June 26, 1934 in Maydelle, Texas, Glenn Cobb died on Nov. 11, 2011 at Hospice HomePlace in Tyler, Tx. Glen grew up in the Maydelle community where he graduated from Maydelle High School. He resided in Jacksonville and retired from Zimmerman Sign. A graveside memorial service is scheduled for Saturday Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Maydelle, Tx. Survivors include son Farron Glenn Cobb of Jacksonville, brother Bill Cobb of Rusk, and sisters Joy Glass of Dialville and Mae Hanvy of Lufkin. He is also survived by several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa Stanley and Sheila Gray, his parents as well as brothers and sisters.
