Note: 7. Doris was born August 28, 1938 in Cooper, Texas to Alvie and Ella (Stringer) McDonald. She is survived by sons, Michael Canada and his wife Cyndi and by Dennis Canada; brother, Jerry McDonald; sisters, Urcel Myers and Sandra Shaw; grandchildren, Stephanie Velasquez, Stacie Montero, Aaron Canada, Shelby Swanson, Joshua Canada, Marlee Canada and Kacie Freeman; and Great Grandchildren, Faith, Grace, Gideon, Abigail, Briggs and Davis. Doris will be remembered as a strong Christian and a loving Mother and Grandmother. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Dalton and Son Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Dalton and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Martin Oaks Cemetery, service to be officiated by Rev. Wesley Brown.
