Note: f Springhill, LA and resided in Pineville, LA for many years. She was preceded in death by her father J.L. Word. She is survived by her mother, Violette Word Ammons of Shreveport, LA, children, Tony (Melissa) Stampley of Hendersonville, TN, Terri Stampley of LaVergne, TN and Tim (Dedee) Stampley of Goodlettsville, TN, brother, Mike (Nancy) Word of Lewisville, AR, sister, Jan Word of Covington, GA, and grandchildren, Tara Stampley, Michael (Alejandra) Stampley, Madelyn Stampley, Meagan Stampley, and Matthew Stampley. Mrs. Stampley was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Springhill, LA. Pallbearers will be John King, Brian Driskill, J.D. Holland, Dwayne Tucker, Lewis Copeland, and Jason Jones. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm Friday. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, TN. Kenny Oldham will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
