a. Note:   Obituary of Desmond E. Trichell Funeral services for Mr. Desmond E. Trichell are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Bastrop United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Dwight Fulton and Rev. Eddie Gorden officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 24, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
  Mr. Trichell, a retired mechanic of Georgia Pacific and member of Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the age of eighty-four. He loved racing cars and thoroughly enjoyed coaching baseball and softball for his grandchildren and the youth of Morehouse Parish.
  He is survived by his wife, Erlene C. Trichell; sons, Kenneth E. Trichell and Desmond W. Trichell both of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Austin Trichell and fiancĂ© Jessica Weddle, Kaleb Trichell and wife Megan, Garrett Powell, Matthew Trichell, and Maci Trichell; great grandchildren, Foxx Wood, Annistyn Trichell, Ezra Wood, and Talyn Weddle.
  Mr. Trichell is preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Minnie Trichell; and daughter, Janis Trichell.
  Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Trichell, Kaleb Trichell, Garrett Powell, Matthew Trichell, Michael Jones, and Tyler Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Tab Coleman, Mark Coleman, and Donald Wallace.
