November 21, 1974 D.C. Noah Dies After Brief Illness D.C. Noah, age 63, of Chatham, died early Sunday morning, November 17, in the Veteran's Hospital in Shreveport after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Rev. Adriel Alexander and Rev. F.C. Thompson conducted the services. Burial was in the Fellowship Cemetery near Quitman under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katherine Noah of Chatham; one sister, Mrs. Francis Moffett of Lake Charles; three brothers, Dennis P. Noah of Baton Rouge, B.R. Noah of Ruston and O.B. Noah of Rayville. Family links: Spouse: Katherine V Noah (1920 - 1996)
