Gloria Mae Bell Sullivan was born October 17, 1928 to Eli Bell and Mary Etta Black Bell in Jonesboro. She passed away at the age of 83, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Forest Haven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband, Tillman J. Sullivan of Quitman; daughters, Patricia Ann Nutt and husband Robert of Quitman and Joan Marie Colvin and husband Reginald of Dubach; brothers, W. R. Bell, Dugan Bell and Oliver Bell; grandchildren, Carlton W. Boyett of Choudrant, Daniel R. Nutt and wife Lauren of Pollock, Jeana N. Marks and husband Jeremy of Ball, Phillip J. Colvin and wife Melinda of Dubach and Denise M. Willis and husband Marvin of Federal Way, WA; great grandchildren, Jon Boyett, Gabe Boyett, Lane Nutt, Mason Nutt, Hayden Nutt, Leona Marks, Joseph Marks, Carlton Colvin, Mercie Colvin, Joseph Colvin, Brittany Colvin, Leia Barnes, Timothy Barnes, Dylan Barnes and David Smothers. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carlton Joseph Sullivan; brother, Ronald E. Bell. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Southern Chapel, Jonesboro with Reverend Robert Tyler and Reverend Kenneth Tarver officiating. Friends may visit with the family Thursday 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Harmony Grove Cemetery near Dodson.
