HAROLD O'NEAL RANKIN Cox Funeral Home - Delhi, LA Funeral services for Harold O. Rankin, 77, of Rayville, LA, will be at 2:00PM Monday, May 15, 2006 in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Rev. A. B. Downs Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi, LA under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi, LA. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Cox Funeral Home. He was a veteran of the US Navy, a 32nd Degree Mason and a business man of automobile and furniture sales for over fifty years. After a battle with cancer for one and a half years, Harold went to be with his Lord on Friday night. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wesley Rankin and Flora Dunham Rankin. He is survived by wife, Betty Ezell Rankin of Rayville, LA; two brothers, Al Rankin and wife Margaret of Monroe, LA and Charles Rankin and wife Gayle of Natchez, MS. He is also survived by four children, three step daughters, and numerous grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dean Ockman, Josh Lewis, Ronnie Griffin, Bob Mathis, Brandon Griffin, Shane Starks, and Ronnie Tucker. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Hubbard, whom was not only his Doctor, but a man that Harold admired very much. And to the Patients Choice Hospice Staff for all the care and love that was shown to Harold and his family, for which we will always be grateful.
