Mrs. Beverly Ann Griggs, age 45 of Alachua, FL, formerly of Chatham, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL following a lengthy illness.
Beverly was born in Monroe, LA and was a loving mother, daughter and friend.
Friends may call on the family Wednesday, December 10 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, December 11 at Zoar Church near Chatham. Interment will be at Zoar Cemetery.
Mrs. Griggs is survived by two daughters, Wendy Griggs of Santa Fe, TX and Melissa Griggs Catching and husband Rick of Dickinson, TX; parents, Jesse and Reva Griggs of Hitchcock, TX; three brothers, Sam Hollaway of Highsprings, FL, Dewayne Moore and wife Pat of Highsprings, FL, Tom Moore and wife Grace of Archer, FL; two grandchildren, Ryan and Emily Catching of Dickinson, TX; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She is also survived by two special friends, Donnie and Hannah Clardy of Alachua, FL
