Note: Gloria Sexton Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Mercer Sexton, 63, were to be held at 10 a.m. today, April 22, 2004, at Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Gene Cumpton officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Jones boro.
Mrs. Sexton, a native of Quitman and a resident of Jonesboro, Passed away Wednesday, April 21, at Forest Haven Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 26, 1940. She was a secretary.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenny Ray Irvin and wife Charlotte of Jonesboro; mother, Nova Lee Mercer of Minden; one sister, Nova Rebecca Talton and husband Richard of Minden; one brother, Prentice Neal Mercer and wife Evelyn of Zachary; and three grandchildren, Miranda Bloomfield, Craig Irvin and Kaleb Irvin.
Pallbearers were to be Cody Johnson , Eddie Lee, Richard Talton, Davy Horton, Chester Fredericks and Floyd Walker . Honorary pallbearers were to be Craig Irvin and Kaleb Irvin.
