Note: Helen's Obituary NEAL
Helen S. Neal, born on February 24, 1920, passed away on January 19, 2009, at the age of 88. She was a proud member of the Eastern Star Past Matron 5 Times, Valley Hi Chapter No. 1104 and a past High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Altrui Court No. 89. Helen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Vester L. Neal; children, Butch Smart and his wife, Judy of Highland, NC, Jane Pipes and her husband, George of Ruston, LA, and Russell Neal of Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2009, at the Castle Ridge Mortuary, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009, at the Castle Ridge Mortuary Chapel, at 9:00AM. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
