 Nancy Beth Lenamon Obituary
 March 16, 1965 - January 14, 2011
A Memorial Service will be held at Woodland Presbyterian Church of Pineville at 1:00 p.m. on January 19, 2011 for our friend, sister and loved one. Nancy Beth Lenamon entered this world on March 16, 1965 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She departed from those who loved and cherished her on January 14, 2011 in Alexandria.
Nancy Beth was the type of person who could put a "normal" person to shame with the number of friends who stopped to speak with her in any local store. Despite childhood doctor concerns, Nancy became a phenomenal country and western dancer who often left her partner breathless. She was an avid Special Olympics bowler who developed a special relationship with a coach who later became her QMRP, Ms. Jacqueline "Jackie" Reed. Theirs was a special bond of friendship that endured.
Nancy was a devout Christian and one of the original members to sign the charter for Woodland Presbyterian Church in Pineville. She loved to perform her favorite song "Amazing Grace" to audiences whenever the opportunity arose. Nancy was one of the original persons who helped Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries, Inc. of Cenla get off the ground on April 24, 1988. She leaves a family of ladies at Fendler Community Home who loved and supported her until the very end with their daily acts of kindness and enduring expressions of love. Many Fendler staff, old and new, can say they we re truly touched by Nancy.
Nancy Beth Lenamon is survived by her mother, Ms. Peggy Lenamon of Friendswood, Texas and one sister, Jane Young and one brother, Jay Lenamon, also of Friendswood, Texas. She also leaves two beloved nieces, Emily Young and Maddie Young, and one sweet nephew, Connor Young.
