 Jacob Sheets (c1715 - 1806?)
  In the name of God, Amen, I Jacob Sheets, of the county of Stormont, Husbandman, being very weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, and calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowledge that it is ap[pointed for] all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say principally and firs[t] of all I give [illegible] my soul into the hands of Almighty God, that gave it, and my body I r[e]comend to the earth to be buried in decent [clothing for buriel] at the discreation of my excecutors, nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall [receive] the same against the power of Almighty God: And as touching such [worley - worthy?] estate who[?] with it has pleased God to bless me in this life I give [illegible] the same in the following manner and form.
  First I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved sons William and Jacob the sum of ten shillings each, also I give to my beloved daughters Lena and Mary one shilling each, and to my daughter Sara one bed together with all the furniture there unto belonging, also I give to my beloved son David one hundred acres of Land in the township of Cornwall namely the east half of lot number thirty three in the second consession with all and every priviledge thereunto belonging and one tea kettle and tea and pot. Also I give to beloved sons George and David all my waring appariel, stock and movable artifacs and articles belonging or appertaining to my personal property and the whole of the same to be equally divided between George and David, by them freely to be possessed and enjoyed I likewise constitute make and ordain my trusty and beloved friends John [Cadman?] Senior and Michel Warrner the sole executors of this my last will and testament, and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanu[?? all ?] and every other former testament, will, legacies, bequests and executors [by me] anyways before named, willed and bequeathed, ratifying and [confirm]ing this and no other to be my last will and testament. In [illegible] I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of March in the year of our lord One thousand Seven hundred and Ninety f-[illegible] .
