  Her husband was Samuel Landes who was born 4-20-1788 Windsor, York County, Pennsylvania and died 12-20-1849 Augusta County, Virginia. He was the son of John Landis and Catherine Miller. Samuel remarried after Elizabeth died and had more children by his second wife. Samuel is buried in the Landes Cemetery, Burketown, in Augusta County, Virginia. They were married 5-28-1816 Augusta County, Virginia by G.H. Riemenschneider a Lutheran minister.
  They were listed in the census records of 1820 and 1830 Augusta County, Virginia. Elizabeth and Samuel had seven children.
