Her husband was Hugh Shott who was born ca 1795 and died 8-3-1869 Augusta County, Virginia. Hugh was the son of Richard Shott and Mary Morgan. Rebecca and Hugh were married 2-5-1829 in Augusta County, Virginia. They were listed census 1850 Augusta County, Virginia. Rebecca was listed in the census records of 1870 and 1880 living in the Beverly Manor district of Augusta County, Virginia. Morgan Shott age 30 is living with Rebecca in 1870. Damin W. Carrol age 17 was living in Rebecca`s household in 1880. I think that Rebecca and Hugh had a son named Hugh Shott Jr but do not have definite proof. Hugh and Rebecca are buried at the Croft Family Cemetery in Augusta County, Virginia.
