a. Note:   Daniel Sheets was born 3-30-1770 in Pennsylvania. He was baptized on 5-6-1770 at Boehms Reformed Church in Bluebell, Pennsylvania. His sponsors were Peter Bock and Mary Magdalena Schuetz Bock. Daniel moved from the Pennsylvania colony to Augusta County, Virginia with his parents while he was a young boy. Daniel died suddenly in 1816 Augusta County, Virginia.
  Daniel married Elizabeth Whitemore on 3-27-1790 Augusta County, Virginia by William Wilson. Elizabeth was born 3-10-1769 and died 12-23-1849 Augusta County, Virginia. After Daniel`s death, Elizabeth married Adam Wise on 5-1827 by John Brown, D.D. Elizabeth is buried at Old Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery Augusta County, Virginia. Her tombstone lists the names of both of her husbands. I have been unable to find the grave of Daniel.
  Daniel received 193 acres of land from his father. Daniel and Elizabeth were listed 1800 Augusta County, VA tax list with 1 male over 21 and 2 horses. They were listed 1810 Augusta County, Virginia and Elizabeth is listed 1820 Augusta County, Virginia.
