Note: According to the 1850 US PA census records, Samuel Sheetz is listed as a child, age 2 years , living in the household of his mother, Catharine (Enterline) Sheetz, in Jackson Township, D auphin county. Exact birth and baptism dates are not known at this time. This compiler feel s that Samuel was baptised at Bowerman's Lutheran and Reformed church over in the next valle y (Powell's Valley). Baptism records were lost when the church burned down at the turn of th e century.
