Note: Birth and baptismal dates are extracted from the records found in Zion Lutheran church, located in Harrisburg, Dauphin county, PA. The parents were the sponsors. This information was found on page 75 of Zion's Baptismal records, found on film #1298604 in the the LDS Salt Lake Library. Samuel is named as a son of George Sheetz, in his will dated August 12, 1822. According to the estate papers of Peter Enterline, dated shortly after his death in 1853, this compiler has concluded that "this" Samuel was the first husband of Catharine Enterline, eldest d/o Peter Enterline. Together Samuel and Catharine had 6 children, the last child born AFTER Samuel died. The first (5) of Samuel and Catharine's children were baptised at Fetterhoff's Evangelical Lutheran and German Reformed Church, located in Armstrong Valley, Halifax Twp.. Samuel was named as the father and present at all of their baptisms. According to Samuel's tombstone inscription, he died at age 34. Cause is unknown. He is buried at Fetterhoff's Evangelical and German Reformed Church Cemetery. His birth and death dates are recorded on his tombstone, and noted in the cemetery records at Fetterhoff's in a section in which there were NO grave markers listed.
