Note: Birth and baptismal dates are extracted from the records of Zion Lutheran Church, located in Harrisburg, PA. Sponsors were George Peffer and wife Susanna. David received about $106.00 as his fair share of his father's estate, plus he got to share his father's plantation with his brother J. Peter. When David moved to Ohio in 1835 he signed over release papers on his share of the plantation to his brother Peter. These papers also noted that his wife's name was Margaret.
