Note: Nancy Hinaker aged 72 years personally appeared in an affidavit concerning the Revolutionary War pension of John Sheets and said that she was the sister of John Sheets and that she recollected that some time after the commencement of the rovolutionary war, perhaps 2 or 3 years after that her brother John Sheetz marched from Shenandoah County as a soldier in the company of Capt Rice or Rush as it is sometimes pronounced. I do not have any information for varification other than the above affidavit.
