Note:   In 1900, 40 year old farmer William Sheets lived on a mortgaged farm in Enoch Twp., Noble County, Ohio with his 34 year old wife Anna and seven children: Frank (13), Leo (12), Ferdinand (10), Mary (6), Lizzie (4), Edna (3), and Rosa (1). The oldest three children attended school... Frank and Leo for six months, and Ferdiannd for three. William Scheetz was not able to read and write.
  In 1910, 49 year old farmer William F. Sheets (sic) and his wife Barbara (45) owned a farm they owned in Youngstown, Mahoning Co., Ohio. Living with them were their children Frank (22), Leo J. (21), Ferdinand (19), Mary (17), Lizzie (16), Emma (12), Gertrude (11), Tillie (9), Clara (7), Louise (2), and Agnes (1). Emma, Gertrude, Tillie and Clara attended school. Frank worked as a brick mason (building), Leo as a carpenter (house building), and Ferdinand as a teamster (lumber yard). All members of the household were born in Ohio as were William's father and both of Barbara's parents. Barbara's mother was born in Germany.
  William's great grandson Raymond Nelson Tomlinson states that William Scheetz died seven months before the birth of his eighteenth child (Enda Anna Scheetz) in Youngstown, Ohio
