He is interred</p></p><p><p>at Rosedale Cemetary in the Garden of the Last Supper. He imigrated</p></p><p><p>from Scotland to Australia and then to New Zealand. Eventually, he</p></p><p><p>imigrated from New Zealand to Windsor, Ontario, Canada where he married</p></p><p><p>Violet Brown Silcock. During the Great Depression, He and Violet moved</p></p><p><p>to Elizabeth, N.J. and then eventually, to Linden where they lived out</p></p><p><p>their natural lives. George and Violet were very active in Scottish</p></p><p><p>activities through two organizations, namely, The Royal Order of Scottish</p></p><p><p>Clans and the Daughters of Scotia. George had served as Chief to The Clan</p></p><p><p>Gordon No. 69 on occasion and was also an active Mason. While living</p></p><p><p>in Canada he was employed by the Ford Motor Co. at the engine plant</p></p><p><p>in Windsor, Ontario. During his life in New Jersey he was employed</p></p><p><p>by The Proctor and Gamble Co. of Staten Island, New York (Port Ivory)</p></p><p><p>until his retirement at age 62.</p></p><p>RIN: MH:N7</p>
