SOOS Edward Soos, 64, of Tonawanda, Friday (March 21, 1980) at DeGraff Memorial Hsopital. A lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, Mr. Soos was a member of Sweeney Hose Co. No. 7 and North Tonawanda Firemen`s Benevolent Association. He was a former employee of Buffalo Pumps.
He is survived by his wife, Onnolee (nee Russell) Rae Soos; two daughters, Mrs. David (Roberta) Brier and Mrs. Joseph (Diane) Gancasz, both of North Tonawanda; two stepsons, Robert (Doris) Rae of North Tonawanda and Donald (Kathleen) Rae of Tonawanda; four brothers, Alex (Ann) Soos, Albert Soos, James (Myra) Soos, all of North Tonawanda and Nick (Jean) Soos of Baltimore, Md., four sisters, Mrs. Allen (Ann) Rathwell of Batavia, Mrs. William (Rose) Silvis of St. Regis Falls, N.Y., Mrs. Hilda Kennedy and Mrs. Marion Kell, both of North Tonawanda; grandfather of 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call Saturday and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Daniel Richter officiating. Burial Elmwood Cemetery.
