a. Note:   he following as recorded:
 "Overseer's of the Poor v. Hester Alltop, Upon a Ruling, This day came the plffs by their attorney and their motion and for reasons appearing to the court it is ordered that Isabella Altop aged 16 years be bound to Benamin Start till she arrives at the age of 18 years to learn the art and mistery of a spinstifs. Also Lewis Alltop aged 14 years and Bushrod Altop aged 11 years be bound to Elisha Owens (to learn the art and mistery of a tailor) till they arrive at the age of 21 years. Also Maria Altop aged 8 years be bound to Wm. Smith till she arrives at the age of 18 years to learn the art and mistery of a seemstrifs & that someone of the Overseer's of the Poor do execute this order & that the plaintiffs recover their costs they have epended."
