a. Note:   ddletown, Del., and Newark, Del., died Friday, Aug. 1, 2003, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, Del. He was 54.
  Mr. Furr was a carpenter.
  He enjoyed playing the guitar. During the late 1970s, he played in the band Country Coalition. He also was an avid fisherman.
  He is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Tom and Trish Furr of Bear, Del., and Trevor and Karen Furr of Middletown; a daughter and son-in-law, Raychel and Matt Estep of Middletown; their mother, Raetta McCall; 12 sisters, Marcine, Betty, Yvonne, Shirley, Linda, Paulette, Gail, Marlene, Renee, Maryanne, Barbara and Valerie; three brothers, Ray, Frankie and J.C.; and four grandchildren, Amanda, Brianna, Miranda and Jacob.
  Services will be noon Tuesday in Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
  Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend, Del.
  Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
